Kathy Henderson

Kathy Henderson, 65, of Hollywood, Florida passed away on October 19, 2026.

Kathy was born on November 16, 1960 in Augusta, Georgia to the late James H. and Elizabeth B. Henderson of Greenwood.

She was a graduate of Greenwood High School (South Carolina) and several years later relocated to the Miami, Florida area, finally settling in Hollywood.

She is survived by her beloved son, Isaiah Henderson and granddaughter, whom she dearly loved, Layla Henderson of the home.  She is also survived by two brothers, Steven Henderson (Lisa) and Mikel Henderson (Christie) both of Greenwood SC and a half-sister, Laura Kniaz of Ocean Isle, NC.

She was blessed to have many friends in Greenwood but also had close friends in Hollywood including John, Charlie, Victor, James, Margaret, Kimberly, Rene and others who took care of her until the end. Her family is forever grateful for the many caring friends she made over the years.



She will be remembered for her kindness and caring for others, her laughter despite the hard times she endured, and her joy at being a mother and grandmother.
