Antoinette Moredock

March 2, 1934 - July 3, 2022

Antoinette Moredock, 88, of Plantation, passed away July 3, 2022. She is survived by her son Carl Breitenberger; daughter Cynthia (James) Moredock Januszka; sister Bella D’Aleo and grandchildren Jimmy and Joey Januszka; niece and nephew Lorraine and John D’Aleo and their son Nicholas D'Aleo. Ann was born in the Bronx and moved to Florida in her early 20s. She worked for the State of Florida for over 25 years including stints with the Health Department, Florida Healthy Kids, and South Florida State Hospital. She was a devoted daughter who took care of her mother who lived around the corner from her for many years. Additionally, as a single mom she imparted the value of faith, hard work, speaking up, and love with her children and grandchildren. She was a founding member of St. Maurice church in Hollywood and then a member of St. Gregory church in Plantation. She was involved in many clubs including the Women's Guild at St. Gregory church, Emmaeus, AARP, Polk Street Senior Center, Forever Young and church bible studies. Ann had a very active social life and she will be dearly missed but always remembered. Viewing will be Wednesday, July 13th from 6:00PM – 9:00PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be Thursday, July 14, 10:00AM at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 200 North University Drive followed by interment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.
