We announce the passing of Delia Vazquez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who left this world on November 17, 2024, at the age of 82. Delia was a strong, determined woman of deep faith and unwavering love for her family.    She is survived by her loving husband Juan, devoted daughters Teresita and Annette, her sister Rosalina, cherished grandchildren Alyssa, Annalyse, Jon and J.J., and son-in-laws Joey and Jeff.   She shared an incredible 62 year marriage with her husband Juan, and together they worked hard to build a home and a life for themselves. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Teresita and Annette, who grew up to be as determined, strong, and accomplished as their mother.    Her grandchildren, Alyssa, Annalyse, Jon, and Joseph, were the light of her life. Known as "Abuela" to them, Delia was their advocate, nurturer, and the keeper of family traditions. Whether it was a home-cooked meal, a word of advice, or a simple hug, her presence always radiated love and care. There is nothing she would not do for her grandchildren.   Delia shared a special bond with her sister Rosalina, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and a connection rooted in love, friendship and family.    Delia’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She selflessly devoted her life in service to several local Catholic churches including St. Stephen, San Isidro, Little Flower, Nativity, and St. Mark, where her presence will be deeply missed. She lived her faith through acts of kindness and service, and she taught those around her to trust in God by demonstrating her own unwavering faith in the Lord. Delia never turned away a person in need and as a result had a profound effect on countless lives through her acceptance and generosity.   Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church.    While our hearts are heavy with her loss, we celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
