Gerald "Gerry" Spaeth

Gerald "Gerry" Michael Spaeth, 83, of Wisconsin, went home to Jesus on June 30, 2025. Survived by wife Mary; children Kristin and Jennifer; grandchildren Jeremiah, Jiriaya and Josip; brothers George and Sylvester; sisters Doris, Rosie and Mary†; nieces and nephews Nicole, Mary, Heidi, Amy, Justin, Brian, Jeffery†, Timothy†, Ben, Lisa, Adam, Anna and Gena.  For years as a truck driver, Gerry always knew the roads, eager to share directions with others. Family and friends will also remember his love of gardening, especially tomatoes, raspberries, asparagus and rhubarb. He enjoyed being outdoors for things like bike rides and walks, but could also be found sitting (or napping) in a lawn chair under his favorite tree in his front yard. He rarely missed a Sunday mass or an opportunity to play cards with friends. A mass and repast will be scheduled at St. James in Sussex, WI in September to honor his memory.
