Deacon Ian Taylor, 84, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away November 3, 2022. Originally from Chile, Ian made his career in Sales for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
 In 1992, Ian was ordained a Deacon for the Archdiocese of Miami serving at various parishes: Saint Martha, Corpus Christi, The Cathedral of Saint Mary, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs and Saint Matthew.
He is survived by Maria Eugenia, his wife of 54 years, daughter Karen, sister Catherine Taylor, brother Robert Taylor and two grandchildren, Taylor and Sophia Gerke.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 9, at Saint Matthew Catholic Church, 542 Blue Heron Drive, Hallandale Beach, Florida. Interment will take place at a later date.
