Joanne Marie Ager

Joanne Marie Ager of Hollywood, Fla formerly of Blairsville, PA passed away Tuesday February 11, 2025 at Aventura Hospital in Aventura, FLA
Joanne was born June 14, 1960 at Indiana Hospital. She was the youngest child of the late Stanton J and Martha (Nealen) Ager.
She is survived by her daughter Jansen V. Burkley and grandson Jaylen J. Spears of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by siblings Diana Canale of Indiana; Gerald Ager of Blairsville; Margaret Jacobs (John) of Indiana; Thomas Ager (Heather) of Blairsville and Charles Ager of Blairsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a sister in law Kathleen Sanders (Derek) of Taylorvill, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Ager.
A graduate of Blairsville High School, Joanne also graduated from Clarissa School of Fashion Design and Broward Community College. She worked most of her life as a Registered Nurse for Surgi-Staff in the Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
Joanne loved the beach and the big blue skies of Florida. Her favorite day would begin by playing a game of golf or tennis, working in her yard, and cooking a fresh meal. She was particularly proud of her mango trees.
Landmark Funeral Home in Hollywood, Fla has been entrusted to her services. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
