Kathleen D. McBride, 83, of Fort Lauderdale, slipped into her heavenly home on October 25, 2023. She was born on March 10, 1940 in Miami to Robertson and Catherine (Hulslander) Dewhurst. Kathleen made her career as an orthopedic x-ray technician while raising a family. After retirement she and her husband enjoyed spending their summers in the cool mountain air of North Carolina.
Survived by Sylvester “Les”, her devoted husband of 62 years, son William "Corty" (Michelle) McBride, daughters Kelli (Michael) Hull and Kathryn "Tracy" (Lou) Volpe, brother Robert (Donna) Dewhurst, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass scheduled for 10:00 AM on Monday, October 30, at Saint Maurice at Resurrection Church, 441 NE 2nd Street, Dania Beach.
