Leonide, Beloved Sister and friend


Miss Leonide “Sarah” Lefevre died unexpectedly in North Miami on April 24th 2024 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the age of 25.


Sarah is survived by Yclomene Lucien and Jean Luckner Lefevre in Haiti, Vernet Veyana, Jean Lucknor Lefevre, Jean Eddy Lefevre, Daniel Lefevre in Haiti, Junior Lefevre in France, Jean Marc Lefevre and Will Theard in the USA.


Sarah was born on November 15th of 1997 in carrefour, Port-au-Prince to Yclomene Lucien and Jean Luckner Lefevre. she graduated from High School in 2019 in Haiti. After moving to Florida, Sarah began working for Amazon as a warehouse packer. Her family remember her as a cherished daughter, sister, and friend who encouraged them to pursue their goals, Sarah brought warmth, love and joy to all who knew her.


Sarah was a person of remarkable kindness and generosity. Her gen spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She has a passion for dancing, singing, and her enthusiasm was contagious. Whether she was spending time with family, pursuing her passions, or lending a helping hand to those in need. Sarah approached life with unwavering compassion and grace.


On April 7th, Sarah gather in a video call with her mother and siblings to celebrate her mom's birthday, a last memorable day for the loves one. Though her time with us was far too short, Sarah leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire us all. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.


A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sarah will be held on April 3rd at Landmark Funeral Home-4200 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood Fl. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Sarah’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to her mother in Haiti. May Sarah's memory be a blessing, and may we find solace in the cherished moments we shared with her.

Sarah est née le 15 novembre 1997 à Carrefour, Port-au-Prince, de Yclomene Lucien et Jean Luckner Lefevre. Elle a obtenu son diplôme d'études secondaires en 2019 en Haïti. Après avoir déménagé en Floride, Sarah a commencé à travailler pour Amazon en tant qu'emballeur dans un entrepôt. Sa famille se souvient d'elle comme d'une fille chérie, d'une sœur et d'une amie qui les encourageait à poursuivre leurs objectifs. Sarah apportait chaleur, amour et joie à tous ceux qui la connaissaient.


Sarah était d'une gentillesse et d'une générosité remarquables. Son esprit génial touchait la vie de tous ceux qu'elle rencontrait. Elle était passionnée de danse et de chant, et son enthousiasme était contagieux. Qu'elle passe du temps avec sa famille, qu'elle s'adonne à ses passions ou qu'elle tende la main à ceux qui en ont besoin, Sarah abordait la vie avec une détermination inébranlable. Sarah abordait la vie avec une compassion et une grâce inébranlables.


Le 7 avril, Sarah a passé un appel vidéo avec sa mère et ses frères et sœurs pour célébrer l'anniversaire de sa mère, un dernier jour mémorable pour l'être aimé. Bien que son séjour parmi nous ait été bien trop court, Sarah laisse derrière elle un héritage d'amour et de compassion qui continuera à nous inspirer tous. Elle manquera profondément à sa famille, à ses amis et à tous ceux qui ont eu le privilège de la connaître.


Un service commémoratif pour célébrer la vie de Sarah aura lieu le 3 avril au Landmark Funeral Home-4200 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood Fl. Tout le monde est invité à y assister et à célébrer la vie de Sarah. Au lieu de fleurs, veuillez envoyer des dons à sa mère en Haïti. Que la mémoire de Sarah soit une bénédiction et que nous puissions trouver du réconfort dans les moments précieux que nous avons partagés avec elle.

Rose Marie is survived by her son Wayne J. Halpern, Jr. of Tamarac, Florida and her sister Shirley Ann Mallory of Lexington, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her son Charles Anthony "Tony" Buffalo and her brother Fred William Becker, Jr. Rose Marie was born on February 14, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to Fred William and Grace Santa (Natoli) Becker. Her deep faith and dedication to service were nurtured by the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood during her six years at Saint Domenico's Italian Orphan Home, also in St. Louis. Moving with her family to Florida in 1950, she graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1954. She then worked in banking until she became a full-time mother and homemaker. Rose Marie tirelessly pursued perfection in all she did. Her greatest passion was her devotion to her two fortunate sons. She was a loyal sister, daughter and friend to many. She "never met a stranger," accepting all she encountered with the same warmth and interest. She and her son Tony raised 7 dogs, including a champion show dog, and were competitive growers in the South Florida Bromeliad Society for over 20 years. Right up through her 87th birthday she was reluctant to sit, preferring to serve others in whatever way she could. Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood 33021. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Marianist Mission at marianistmission.marianist.com.

Robert Eugene Libero, 77 of Dania Beach, sadly passed away on April 22, 2025. Bob was born on December 29th to Lillian and Reto Libero. Bob was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was a self-made business owner of G&S Silk Screening and Embroidery and nicknamed T-Shirt Bobby. He loved fishing in the Keys with friends and family. Bob will be missed deeply and survived by his loving Wife, Cynthia, Son Gregory Libero (Mindy); Daughter Susan Perko (Phil); Brother Allan Libero (Cindy); Nephew Nolan Libero (Susan); Grandchildren Taylor, Nathan, Anna, Presley and Averi as well as many cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be held at American Legion Post 304 in Dania Beach on Saturday, May 24th at 2 PM. Fausto Tangherlini originally from Lima, Perú passed away peacefully in his Hallandale Beach home on April 22, 2025 at the age of 94 years old. He will be deeply missed by his beloved and devoted wife and two children.

Denise Trissel, 67, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, Denise’s warmth and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; her devoted daughter, Rachel; her cherished grandson, Fernando; her mother, Gail; and her sisters, Lynn and Dawn. Denise spent much of her life dedicated to her family and their business, which she proudly ran alongside her siblings. Her attention to detail and care as the bookkeeper reflected her commitment and pride in their shared work. A true Floridian at heart, Denise loved the sunshine, the beach, and the life she built in Hollywood. Her kind spirit, calm demeanor, and gentle laugh brought light to many lives. A memorial service will be held at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida, on Saturday, May 3rd, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to join us as we celebrate Denise’s life and share memories. She will be forever in our hearts.

Donna Baker, age 72, passed away on April 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and selfless love. Those fortunate enough to know her will remember not only all that she did, but the way she made them feel - seen, valued, and deeply loved. She meant more than words could ever say. Her memory will live on in the way others care, love, and believe in people, just as she always did. She is survived by her loving husband Paul; children Melissa, Alicia (Sheehan), Brooke, Julie (Darryl), Dominic and Jake; sister Catherine and sister-in-law Lela; grandchildren Alishé, Angelina, JamesPaul, and Devin; and nieces and nephews Rebecca, Danny, Jason, William, and Brian. Kathleen R. Garafola (O’Brien), beloved aunt, sister and friend, was reunited with her husband, Dean Garafola, on April 8, 2025. Kathleen was born July 12, 1955. She grew up in Orchard Park, NY and was one of 6 children. After moving to Florida in the 70’s, she worked for Broward County Sheriff’s office for many years as a Code Enforcement Officer, where she met the love of her life, Dean Garafola. They had a beautiful love story and were together and married for over 25 years. Kathleen is survived by her sister, Susan; brother, Frank and many nieces and nephews. Although she had no children of her own, she spent her life showing her love and kindness to other people and her furbabies. Her humor, courage, resilience, big heart, love and beauty will forever touch the hearts of all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at noon at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery (chapel) at 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ASPCA in her honor.
