Linda Lee Reed White

October 4, 1945-February 25, 2023

Linda Lee White , of Hollywood, passed away after a year’s struggle with esophageal cancer. She is survived by her brother Kenneth, her son James Waits, granddaughter Barbara Lee Shaffer, her great grandchildren Michael and Joshua, great-great grandson Carter, stepdaughter Suzanne (Bob) Strauss and their sons and grandchild, stepson James (Judy) White and their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Linda has many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews whom she loved so much, as well.
Her death is preceded by her father Lee Roy Reed, her mother Fanny Reed, and sisters Bobby-Jean, Patsy, and Colleen.  Also predeceased by husband James S White, stepdaughter Marianne, and step granddaughter Michelle.
Linda was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She cared deeply for all her family, friends, and co-workers. One of her childhood friends, who was also a good friend of Linda’s sister Patsy, loves to talk about the fun times they had in Jessup Maryland growing up.  They attended family gatherings throughout the years together and remained friends all this time. 
Linda enjoyed cooking, and her food was always prepared with much care and so very delicious!  Luckily, she freely shared her recipes.  Many of us will be enjoying those dishes for years to come and we will be sure to share them with others.  She really enjoyed being with family and her laugh could lift the spirits of anyone within ear shot. We will miss her dearly and will think about her often, especially when there is a get together.

Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Landmark Funeral Home from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm   Burial will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 am
