It is with profound sadness that the loved ones of LINDA RAE SADIN MCKIBBEN share the loss of this mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Linda is survived by her only son Taylor Justin McKibben of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, whom she loved with all her heart, and his partner Helena Bradbury of Nottingham, UK.  Her sisters Sandra Sadin Stein of Pembroke Pines, FL, Nikki Sadin Alters Rizzo and husband John Rizzo of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Ila Sadin Rodriguez and husband Peter Rodriguez of Ft. Lauderdale, FL grieve the loss and joy of #3 of sisters known as “The Girls”.  Loving nieces and nephews Elaine, Douglas & Nellie, Jeremy & Lina, Allison & Chris, Kimberly & Jason, Saundra & Tim, JC, and Zachary and Hannah feel her loss deeply, as does Harold Beasley, her companion of 18 years.
Her extensive number of friends including those from 37 years in AA, are extremely saddened and will miss her sharing of wisdom, comfort, laughter, and pain.
Linda was born September 29, 1948, in Chicago, IL to Jerry Lester Sadin and Bernice Carolyn Podraza Sadin.  The late David McKibben was her former husband and father of Taylor.
She was variously employed as a bartender, dental assistant, sales technician, and counselor at The Rader Institute, but her favorite “job” was being Taylor’s mom!  Linda traveled in parts of Europe and Asia in her 20’s.  She received the wonderful “gift” of a liver transplant 13.5 years ago extending her time to be the lovely Linda, we have just lost.
A “Celebration of Life” is scheduled at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, FL 33021, for Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 6:30PM with reception to follow.  All are welcome to attend and commemorate her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Miami Transplant Unit. Click www.jacksonhealthfoundation.org and designate the Miami Transplant Institute in the drop down menu for your gift.  Or support your favorite charity in her honor.  A most sincere thank you for remembering Linda this way.
