Louise "Weezie" Chichelo

LOUISE “WEEZIE” CHICHELO, age 90, long time resident of Dania Beach, passed away on July 4, 2022 peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Louise was born in Orange, New Jersey on January 28, 1932 to Ciro and Angelina (Cuzzo) Spina. She had a very successful career as a caring and compassionate nurse for over 60 years. Weezie was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter and is survived by her children Joseph (Ronica) Chichelo, Judy (Jeff) Bartlett and Jerry (Virginia) Chichelo, brothers Joseph (Patty) Spina, Daniel (Bonnie) Spina, Chick (Janie) Spina, sisters Rose (Lou) Amorose and Barbara (Pat) Serafino, eleven grandchildren Alexandria, Brandyn (Anne), Ashley, Taylor (Laura), Danielle, Mackenzie, Madison, Zackary (Lauren), Zoe, Alec and Jace and three great grandchildren Benjamin, Olivia and Alexander.
The viewing for Louise will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 6:00 to 9:00pm with a 7:00pm prayer service at Valerie Panciera’s Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 901 NE 2nd Street, Fort Lauderdale. Louise will be laid to rest in Lauderdale Memorial Park, 2001 SW 4th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.
