Marie Frances Kugel

Marie Frances Kugel, age 90, of Hollywood, Florida passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026. She was born in Astoria, New York, on June 9, 1935, the daughter of

Agnes and Bartolomeo Fusco and Stepmother Rachel.

As a loving wife to Augustus Kugel for more than four decades, Marie cherished her role as mother and is survived by her daughters Dee King and husband Robert; Susan Wagner and husband Randy; grandchildren Nicole Byrd and husband Jonathan, Blake Wilkins, Lee Wilkins, and her great-grandchild, Paige Byrd, sharing laughter and cherished memories with them—stories that will remain in their hearts forever.

Marie will be fondly remembered for her warm and generous spirit, her enthusiasm for baking, and her love of dancing. She was an active volunteer, always eager to support her community. Above all, Marie treasured the time spent with her family and friends, finding happiness in their company.

Marie’s legacy of kindness, compassion, and love will live on in all those whose lives she touched.
