Marion Inge Barber died peacefully in her home on Monday, July 1 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family at her time of death. She is survived by her husband, 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.   Marion was born on April 12, 1931 to Rudolf and Hedweg Hahne. She was raised in Braunschweig Germany where she went to school to become a ballet dancer. In 1950, she met the love of her life who was an American soldier stationed there after the war. They married in 1952 and moved to the United States where they built their home in Ardsley, NY. In addition to raising their two children, Victoria and Danny, she taught ballet to children for many years.   Marion was also an animal rights activist who spent many hours volunteering in animal shelters. If an animal was too sick to be adopted, she would bring it home to nurse it back to health, then find it a home.

Joan Lee Scheidell, 85, of Hollywood passed away June 13, 2025. Survived by sons Mark (Jeanne) Kovacs and Michael (Maria) Kovacs; daughters Suzanne (Joe) Domenech and Denise (Jim) Ordonez; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
