Martine is survived by her mother Ginette Rimpel and her daughter Faith Elizabeth Banossian. She is preceded in death by her father Yves Marie Rimpel and her husband Leon Charles Banossian.  Martine was born on February 12, 1969 in Port-au-Prince Haiti to Ginette Rimpel and Yves Marie Rimpel. She was raised in Nyack, New York and moved to Florida where she graduated from Broward College with a degree in nursing. She went on to work as a registered nurse for several years, working closely with the labor and delivery and neonatal units.
On January 28, 2006 she married Leon Charles Banossian who she had met in 1992 while working in the travel industry. Over 2 years, the couple welcomed their only daughter, Faith Elizabeth Banossian into their home on August 24, 2008 and Martine set about teaching her traits like self-sufficiency, kindness, and resilience. Her daughter remembers her as a loving, patient, and driven mother who encouraged her to pursue all of her goals. Several recall the mother-daughter pair as best friends. Martine was a generous individual who enjoyed helping other women navigate loss and life changes. She was also passionate about offering coaching and mentorship to fellow women of God. Martine was an active and dedicated member of the Christian community and served at several local churches.
