Michael McGinnity

Michael Patrick McGinnity born on August 6, 1956 passed away on May 17, 2026. Not a day went by without a practical joke or a “story” to make you laugh. He was a loving and devoted father to his three surviving children, Melissa (Daniel) Packert, Michael “Mikey” McGinnity and Mark (Alyssa) McGinnity. In addition, he leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren, Jaxon and Ava Packert and Chase McGinnity. He is also survived by one brother, Kevin and four sisters, Joanne, Patricia, Peggy and Karen as well as his many nieces, nephews, in-laws and his beloved dog Ella. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia and his parents, Michael and Evelyn. Michael served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and worked as a mail carrier for the postal service for over 30 years. Our hearts are truly saddened and he will be sorely missed. We love you Dad, Grandpa "Papa", Brother, and Uncle. 

Visitation to be held on Wednesday June 3rd from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, FL 33021, with Veteran service at 7:00 p.m.



Burial will be on June 4th at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Ave, Miami Lakes, FL 33014 at 1:30 p.m.
