Robert James Martin

                                                          February 7, 1968 - October 4, 2025

Robert (Rob) James Martin, 57 passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, in his home in Hollywood Beach, Florida.

Rob was born in Oak Park, IL on February 7th, 1968, to the late Richard Edward Martin and Christine Martin (nee Battaglia). He grew up in Glen Ellyn with his sister, Laura, and went to Glenbard South High School. He loved being outside playing football, baseball, tennis and swimming. After high school he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics while attending Northern Illinois University in Dekalb. At NIU he was heavily involved in Greek life, first by joining the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, becoming Pike President and then President of Interfraternity Council (IFC). If you knew Rob, you know he never did anything halfway. The Pikes were truly his family while away from home and those closest became lifelong friendships.

After graduation he was hired to ADP where he once again excelled for 25 years. Starting as Vice President of Sales and furthering his career as a leader. He held multiple Vice President roles taking him to New Jersey, Oregon, California and Georgia. Florida, is where he spent his final years living on the beach, swimming in the ocean, biking down the boardwalk and catching lobsters.

He is survived by his children, Jacob, Joseph and Megan Martin. His fiancé Jenni Clemons. Brother to Laura Warnke. Uncle to Alexis, Jocelyn and Camryn Warnke. Son to Christine and the late Richard Martin.

Private services have already been held in Hollywood Beach, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be disclosed at a later date.
