Sayed George Deeb of Hollywood, Florida passed away at his home on January 11, 2023 at the age of 88.
He is survived by Jacqueline Deeb, his devoted wife of 64 years, and his four children: Mela Attie (Eli Attie), George Deeb (Suzie Deeb), Raymond Deeb, M.D. (Gerardo Gonzalez), and Susan Woodard. Sayed also had 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his two sisters, Damia Ghosen and Leila Satoot.
He was born in Blouza, Lebanon in 1934 to Caleb and Susanne Deeb and later emigrated to the United States. He graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A.in Economics. He was an accomplished entrepreneur with numerous Swifty laundromats. He is well known and respected by so many of his family and friends here, in Lebanon and Australia.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 20th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1800 NE 6th Court, Fort Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

David James Bushing, born November 18, 1968, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025 at the age of 56 after a nearly three year battle with brain cancer.
Kathleen Sylvester, 82, of Coral Springs, FL. passed away on June 18, 2025.
An honoring of her life will take place at Landmark Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida on June 29, 2025 between 1:00-3:00 pm.
