Toni DeVita Hixon

March 3, 1948-June 17,2022

Toni DeVita Hixon died Friday, June 17, 2022, in Hollywood, Florida after a long illness.
She was 74. Toni was born in Easton, PA in 1948 and lived in Easton and Effort, Pennsylvania as well as
St. Petersburg and, most recently Hollywood, Florida.
  Toni graduated from Easton Area High School in 1966 and from Empire Beauty School in Easton, PA in 1967. She worked in a variety of places including Connie Chiavetta Beauty Salon (Easton, PA), Mack Printing (Easton, PA), IRCO Credit Union and Cameron Division (Phillipsburg, NJ) and Fashion Modeling in both St. Petersburg and Ft. Lauderdale Florida.
Toni was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Sanguinito) DeVita of Easton and Effort, PA. She is survived by her two children, Richard Hixon of Virginia and Natalie Hixon of Michigan; daughter-in-law, Debra Hixon of Florida; sisters, MaryAnn Niceforo of Sciota, PA and Estelle DeVita of Bullfton, South Carolina; grandchildren, Thomas (Ines), Corey, Aubrie, Lawson, Libby, Lucy; a host of nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her son Christopher Hixon who was killed in the 2018 Marjorie Stoneman Douglas school shooting in Parkland Florida.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Nativity Catholic Church in Hollywood, FL at 11:00 am followed by Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Hollywood, Fl. There will also be a Celebration of Toni’s Life August 6, 2022, in Pennsylvania.
