In Loving Memory of Yesenia Velez Yesenia Velez, a beautiful soul, was born on May 24, 1988, in the Bronx, and departed to be with the Lord on July 9,2024. Jessie was a radiant light in every room she entered, a beacon of love, excitement, and joy.
Yesenia made a remarkable impact on everyone she encountered, touching lives with her genuine warmth and unbounded love. She cherished her family deeply, sharing an unbreakable bond with her sister and best friend, Ilene. Their sisterly love was a testament to Yesenia's capacity to love fiercely and unconditionally. She deeply valued her relationships with her other siblings, Miguel (Pito) and Hector, her brother-in-law Niko, with whom she shared a close bond with and sister-in-law Wilma. They were fiercely protective of their baby sister, ensuring that no one ever messed with her.
Her nieces and nephews, Justice, Savannah, Julius, Kiarah, Sophia, Leahany, and Caleb, held a special place in her heart, as did her beloved parents, Miriam and Alex. Yesenia's love for her family was unwavering, and she made time for each of them, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Yesenia had a passion for Hip Hop music, with a special admiration for Selena, but her musical tastes were as diverse as her vibrant personality. She was fashionable and photogenic, often styling her friends with her keen sense of fashion. Her quick wit and humor brought laughter to many, and she was known for her sharp and funny snaps.
Expecting her first baby girl, Kenzley, Yesenia was eagerly looking forward to motherhood. Her family was equally excited to welcome their first baby girl from Yesenia, lovingly known as Jessie. The anticipation and joy surrounding this new chapter in her life were palpable, and we were all eager to see Jessie embrace motherhood.
Join us as we celebrate the beautiful life of Yesenia Velez on July 20, 2024, at 6 PM.
