Anna Katharina List

Anna Katharina List , 89, passed away peacefully in Hollywood, Florida on October 3, 2023. She is survived by her son Frank List; daughter Lana Zell (List); son-in-laws Stephen Zell and Gary Schrader; grandchildren Gary Schrader Jr, Stephanie Zell Alvero, Jeffrey Schrader, Christina Zell, and Annalena List; and great-grandchildren Rylee Zell, Kobe Alvero, and Khloe Alvero. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank List; daughter Marilyn Schrader (List); and siblings August Hatmann, Richard Hartmann, Karolina Steimel (Hartmann), Helena Hartmann, Walter Hartmann, and Erna Hill (Hartmann).
Anna Katharina Hartmann was born on June 22, 1934 in Roxheim, Germany, to parents Konrad Hartmann and Emma Hartmann (Klein). In 1954, she moved to Bad Kreuznach, Germany where she met and married an American soldier, Frank List. They had three children together. They lived in Germany and the United States for 22 years before Frank passed away. She lived in Minnesota for 28 years, and then moved to South Florida in 2003.
Annie was a sweet, feisty, polka-dancing lady known to many as Oma. She was the life of the party, and will be missed by many.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 6:00pm-8:00pm at Landmark Funeral Home located at 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33021. All are welcome to come and celebrate Annie’s life.
