Elmore Green

September 28th, 1965 - July 3rd, 2026

On Friday, July 3rd, 2026, Elmore Roland Green passed away at the age of 60 in Hollywood, FL, back to his heavenly home. Elmore was born September 28, 1965, to parents Wilma Rivers Green and Leons Green in Coxen Hole, Roatan, Honduras. He graduated from Juan Brooks School in Roatan, and went on to La Ceiba to further his education with an Accounting degree. 

Elmore was an international man with a coast to coast career, at one point directing operations for Scotia Prince Cruises, and then International Shipping Partners. He was a hard worker, even more well known for being lively, witty, and charismatic, getting anyone to laugh and always having a tale to share. Elmore carried distinct pride and the love for a good time wherever he went, inspiring others to do the same.

Preceding him in heaven are his parents Leons and Wilma Green, brothers Luther, Rudolph, and Ludson Green, sister Lorna Green, and son Steven Sevilla. He is survived by his wife Sandra Sevilla, daughters Alisa Green and Lilly Sevilla-Green, sisters Garda Green, Lorlie Cruz, many nieces and nephews, in-laws, and dear friends.  His sister Selma Sanders has recently passed.

The memorial service for Elmore will be on July 18th at 3 pm at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, FL. The viewing will be from 3:00 to 4:00, service 4:00 to 4:45. The Repast will be at 5981 SW 21 St, West Park, FL, directly after.

With you a part of me hath passed away;

For in the peopled forest of my mind

A tree made leafless by this wintry wind

Shall never don again its Green array.

But yet I treasure in my memory

Your gift of charity, your mellow ease,

And the dear honour of your amity;

For these once mine, my life is rich with these.
