A letter to Mom
Mom, you’ve been the biggest gangster I know your whole life. The ones that knew you know. There are so many memories crazy memories that I’m never gonna forget. You should know that when I said, I knew what it was to lose my parents cause I lost Nanny and Papa I didn’t know shit about what I was talking about. And I’m sorry for that. There is no comparison to losing you mommy. I want you to know that there’s no way you could ever let me down. I will always respect and cherish my bringing up. It made me me ! All the strong in me comes from you !!! You , mama Dukes, you are one for the books. You were a street mom to many. I was blessed to call you my mother my whole life. I will miss you for the rest of my life and I will never ever be ready to lose you. I know you and my sister together now. I know you ain’t been right since chante got her wings. I know you were struggling. I still needed you so much mom more then I even knew. But God he got better plans for you. You my Queen will fly the highest now. Look over me and my babies and you save me a spot up there with chante. I’ll be missing you until that day. -Love Elizabeth
