Fannie M. Valdez, 93, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Pembroke Pines, passed away August 1, 2023. She was born April 12, 1930 in Bronx, New York to Joseph and Rose (Russo) Moccia.
Fannie is survived by her children Lorraine, Vincent, Susan, Michael, Mark, Denise and Paul, sister Dorothy Johnson, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, August 7, at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard followed by a 1:00 pm Funeral Mass of the Resurrection at Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street, Hollywood. Fannie will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in North Lauderdale.
