Idalia Arcos

March 22, 1940 - October 10, 2023

Beloved wife and mother Idalia Arcos (Mora), 83, of Hollywood, Florida, peacefully passed away in her home, surrounded by her loving family, on October 10, 2023. Born March 22, 1940, in Cali, Colombia, to Victor and Digna (Delgado) Mora, she emigrated with her husband Luis Eduardo to New York in 1965 and years later to Florida in 1977, where she continued to raise her family. Idalia was an active parishioner of the Nativity Catholic Church and Eucharistic Minister for over forty years.
Preceded in death by son Edward, Idalia is survived by her husband Luis Eduardo, son Richard (Nydia), daughters Patricia (Patty) (Mark) Tennenhouse and Nancy (Carlos) Bonilla, brother Victor Mora, grandchildren Anthony Joseph (A.J.), Carlos Javier (Carli), Christina, Luis Enrique (Luigi) and Richard Christopher (Ricky Jr).
The family will be receiving friends from 6 – 9 p.m. on Monday, October 16th, at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17th, at Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street, Hollywood.
