Isabella Moraglia Raimondi

January 8, 1929 - June 1, 2023

Isabella Moraglia Raimondi, 1929 – 2023, went to heaven joyfully on Thursday, June 1st. There she will rest eternally and blissfully with Jesus and her beloved husband, “Sammy”, who has waited oh so long to have her in his arms. She was preceded most recently in death by her son-in-law, Donny McLaughlin, who would make her laugh with his wisecracks and his hilarious antics, and her sister, Sr. Mary Immaculate, S.S.J. (Gaetana Moraglia) as well as her parents, Domenico and Rosa Moraglia, 6 additional loving siblings and many other family members.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her five children, Rose Burkett (Ed) of Wilson, NC; Mary Levesque (Steve) of Leland, NC; Alice McLaughlin, of Pembroke Pines, FL; Onofrio Raimondi (Diane) of Port Charlotte, FL; Dominic Raimondi (Yaneth) of Sunrise, FL; her brother, Joseph Moraglia (Loretta) of Farmingdale, NY, and sister-in-law, Gloria Raimondi, of The Villages, FL. She was “Nonna” to 13 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren, whom she adored. In addition, she is missed by countless nieces and nephews who fondly referred to her as “Aunt Izzy”, and numerous cousins in Palo del Colle, Bari, Italy, where she was born. Isabella was a very loving and patient woman who was immensely loved by all who were blessed to know or meet her, even if it was only once.

Viewing will be held at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, on Sunday, June 11 from 5 – 9 pm.  Mass of Catholic Burial at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 7450 Stirling Rd., Hollywood on Monday, June 12, at 11:00 am.  She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2401 Davie Rd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
