Letizia M. Lijoi, 89, of Hollywood, passed away November 7, 2023. Born on November 23, 1933 in Iasca, Italy, Letizia emigrated to the United States in 1950 and embraced her new country as her own. She was married in Italy to Ardito Lijoi and they raised three sons in Euclid, Ohio, relocating to Florida in 1970. For 29 years Letizia made her career in retail sales for Burdines, Jordan Marsh and Macy’s. Her favorite hobbies included tending her flower garden and cooking for family gatherings. No one ever left her home hungry or without a covered dish for later.
She is survived by sons Louis (Kim), Vincent (Dawn) and Mario (Kendra), four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 4 – 7 pm on Tuesday, November 14, at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Blvd. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 15, at Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street. Letizia will be laid to rest at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.

Joan Lee Scheidell, 85, of Hollywood passed away June 13, 2025. Survived by sons Mark (Jeanne) Kovacs and Michael (Maria) Kovacs; daughters Suzanne (Joe) Domenech and Denise (Jim) Ordonez; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
Martha Clementi, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 23, 2025, at the age of 97 in Hollywood, FL.
David James Bushing, born November 18, 1968, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025 at the age of 56 after a nearly three year battle with brain cancer.
Kathleen Sylvester, 82, of Coral Springs, FL. passed away on June 18, 2025.
An honoring of her life will take place at Landmark Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida on June 29, 2025 between 1:00-3:00 pm.
