Patricia Anne Archer

March 17, 1962 - June 12, 2023

Patricia Anne Archer, 61, of Fort Lauderdale, passed away on June 12, 2023. Born March 17, 1962 in Elyria, Ohio to William and Gemela (Kaleel) Archer, she is survived by her sister Vicki Ford of Hollywood, FL, brother William Archer, of Elyria, Ohio, nieces Lauren Ford of Brooklyn NY, Jennifer Whitten and Jessica Archer, of Elyria, Ohio. She is also survived by cousins Liz Abbe and her daughters Robin and Marissa, Lori Abbe Colucci and her daughter Leah Brooke, and Vanetta Broussard and her daughter Abbe, of southwest Florida. Patricia graduated from Elyria High School in 1980 and moved to Fort Lauderdale to join her sister Vicki and fell in love with the tropical weather and the beach.
She avidly followed politics and the stock market, and was a dedicated fan of 70s-80s music. She attended Broward County Community College in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and started working at Shearson Lehman Brothers as a sales assistant and eventually obtained her Series 7 license and worked as a broker in the securities and banking industries until her marriage in 2000.
Patricia passionately loved her family and was especially close to her nieces and cousins. She loved being Auntie Pat - her nieces Lauren and Robin along with Robin’s three young daughters Chloe, Cora, and Rae-Lynn, she loved as her own.
She was always quick with a funny story and made friends easily. She was a big fan of comedies and her endless curiosity made her an enthusiastic fan of crime shows and movies. Patricia suffered her entire life from epilepsy and nevertheless went after her dreams. She will be remembered fondly and missed by all those that loved her. Memorial services will be private.
