Peter Yenni Phen
sadly passed away following his battle with Stage 4 gastric cancer, at the age of 64 in Pembroke Pines, Florida on November 4, 2024. Peter is survived by his mother, Eshang; ex-wife, Raeanne; children, Patrick, David and Meredith; siblings, Teresa, Michael, Robert and Catherine;. as well as, by his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Peter is preceded in death by his father Yo Hai and brother Patrick.
Peter Yenni Phen was born in Karachi, Pakistan before moving to the United States at 17.
Peter was an avid cook, skilled Electrical Foreman, and enjoyed action movies. His charming personality and kindness won over many. Peter was a loyal and supportive father, uncle, brother, son, and friend. His unwavering strength persisted throughout his fight with cancer.
A viewing is scheduled for November 7, 2024 from 4-7pm (service at 6pm) at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33021.
A funeral is scheduled for November 8, 2024 at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery, 2001 SW 4 th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315. We will gather at 9:30am at Landmark Funeral Home and an escort will be provided leaving at 10:30am for burial and service at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery at 11am. Immediately following, a reception will be held at Miyako Japanese Buffet, 1157 Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL 33062. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Peter’s life. Joan Lee Scheidell, 85, of Hollywood passed away June 13, 2025. Survived by sons Mark (Jeanne) Kovacs and Michael (Maria) Kovacs; daughters Suzanne (Joe) Domenech and Denise (Jim) Ordonez; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
Martha Clementi, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 23, 2025, at the age of 97 in Hollywood, FL.
David James Bushing, born November 18, 1968, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025 at the age of 56 after a nearly three year battle with brain cancer.
Kathleen Sylvester, 82, of Coral Springs, FL. passed away on June 18, 2025.
