Porfirio Figueroa-Rivera
, 80, of Pembroke Pines, passed away September 1, 2023. Originally from Puerto Rico, Porfirio proudly served in the United States Army later becoming a photographer, truck driver and technician whose talents were always in demand.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elba and is survived by son Eric, daughter Elizabeth (Humberto) Herrera, brother Michael, sisters Julia, Nilda and Elsa and three grandchildren Joey, Alyssa (Umberto) Sanseverino and Yovany and their grandmother Frances Rodriguez.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm with a 7:30 pm prayer service at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard. Porfirio will be laid to rest with Military Honors on Thursday, September 7, at 2:00 pm in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville.
