Rafael Ortega, Jr. Aka (Rafi) 41, of Port St. Lucie, passed away August 9, 2024.
Survived by mother Nilbia Munoz; father Rafael Ortega, Sr; step-father Wilfredo Munoz; step-mom Karina Diaz; step-brother Lawrence Mendoza; niece Kayla Zamora whom was more like a daughter to him and nephew Xzaden Zamora. Predeceased brother Eduardo Zamora, III in 2011. His aunts, Vecky L. Reyes, Sandra Reyes and Delia Reyes; uncles Edwin Reyes, Jimmy Ortega and Pablo Ortega; cousins and friends too many to mention.
Rafael loved his family, music, gaming and detailing his car. Going to the movies was one of his favorite past times. He recently passed the state HVAC test and got certified. We were so proud. He gave the best massages. He spoiled his coworkers by making coffee and occasionally giving quick impromptu massages. He was a good friend, a wonderful son and an awesome uncle. He was a loving and compassionate person. He never made an enemy. Best way to describe him, a simple man who wore his heart on his sleeve.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 18 ^th , 3:00pm – 5:00pm at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed via Facebook at facebook.com/landmarkfuneralhome
