Ruppert "Sonny" Lee

April 11, 1948 - November 7, 2025

Lee, Ruppert E. (Sonny), age 77 of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away on November 7, 2025. A retired city of Miami firefighter, serving almost 30 years. He is survived by his wife Dianna, daughters Tammy (Mike) Valvano, Angela (Lance) Keller, and son Brian (Sherry) Lee; brothers Hugh (Terry) Lee, Sandy (Jimmie) Lee; 9 grandchildren (Cody, Carolyn, Christina, Alyssa, Jacob, Samantha, Austin, Savannah, Sabrina); and 4 great grandchildren (Gavin, Everly, Hazel, Killian).

He is preceded in death by his father Ruppert, mother Charlotte, and brother Mike. He loved playing golf, snow skiing, and watching the Miami Hurricanes.

He was an accomplished handy man and often built things for family in their home.
