Teresita “Tita” Godinez Encalada died peacefully in her home in Hallandale Beach FL, on Friday December 29, 2023 at the age of 71.
Teresita is survived by her children, Terri Elaine Encalada, Jessica Geiser, Jennifer Rodriguez and Teresa Jane Geiser, five grandchildren and twin great grandchildren. Siblings, Narcisa Agujar, Estrella Opolentisima and Mildred Driz in the Philippines. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and six siblings.
Teresita was born on January 26, 1952 in Cebu, Philippines to parents Mrs. Gaudencia Godinez and Mr Florentino Godinez. She possessed many talents. Graduated from Miami Technical Institute with a degree in Medical Assistant, was a beautician and natural entrepreneur.  Being a military wife allowed her to travel around the world and experience different cultures.
Teresita was a fun-loving soul. She participated in numerous community activities. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, crocheting, playing Bingo and Zumba. She expressed her Catholic faith through kind hearted acts of opening her door to those in need and sheltering loved ones.
A service with be held on Thursday, January 4 ^th at Landmark Funeral Home to celebrate Teresita’s life. .
The family would like to thank all those who contributed to memories that made her life richer and more meaningful.
