Theresa Bridget McGowan (née Feeney), born on May 18th, 1949, in Dublin, Ireland, was sent to her eternal home on October 30th, 2025, in Hollywood, Florida, after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Theresa was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Coupled with her being the singing and dancing queen of any party, the world will be a quieter, less colorful place without her. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many others whose lives she touched. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Joe; her son, Thomas (Mauren) McGowan; her daughters, Geraldine (Michael) Clarke and Sarah Mullin; her seven amazing grandchildren, Éire, Liam, Ciarán, Pearse, Tara, Addison, Katie, her great-grandson Ace, her loving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and her many, many friends.
Visitation will take place at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, FL, 33021, on Monday November 3, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday November 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street, Hollywood, FL, 33021.
