                                                       February 15, 1932 - October 26, 2025

Agnes M. Cagney, of Hollywood passed away October 26, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by her loving family. Agnes was born in Chicago and moved the family to Hollywood in 1969. She was a loving mother and survived by her children John, Catherine, Patricia, William and James (Kelly-Ann). Beloved sister of Christine (Edward) Wedekind and predeceased sister Ann Protz. Cherished Grandmother to John, Claire, Danielle (James) Yoma, Elizabeth (Brian) Thibodeau; Mikayla (Chris) Janello, Michael and grand-dog Charlie. Adoring great-grandmother to Harper and Zackary Yoma. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years Patrick, they have been reunited once again after 20 years since his passing.

Agnes made her long-tenured career as a Registered Nurse, but her compassion extended far beyond her work, touching everyone's lives who knew her. Her generous and welcoming nature made every encounter with someone new feel like they've been friends for years. She had been an active member of The Nativity Parish Columbiettes where she served as President, amongst other roles. Agnes prided herself on being the pseudo–Mom and Grandma to her extended family both near and far. Her love of fashion, Ireland, the Miami Dolphins, and anything Chicago, as well as her zest for life will live on in the family's hearts forever.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 6th, 6:00pm – 9:00pm with a prayer service at Landmark Funeral Home. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday, November 7th, 1:00pm at Nativity Catholic Church, followed by entombment at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens East.

The family is asking in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her honor, to the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
