Vada Mae Kirk passed away peacefully at her son's home in Hollywood Florida at the age of 95 on March 22, 2024.
Vada is survived by her two sons and five grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her father, Dolliver Kirk, Ashford, West Virginia, her mother, Mary Kirk, Ashford, West Virginia, 
her brothers, Nathaniel Kirk of West Virginia,  Rondel Kirk, West Virginia, her sisters, Joan Rogers of California, and, Arbutis Miller of Utah.

 She left West Virginia for the west coast of California. There she worked in the medical field and had a set of twins boys. And she settled into the banking industry.
 
Later in life she married and relocated to Sunny South Florida, working for major companies as Grinnell Fire Protection, and Pepsi Cola. 
Following some medical setbacks Vada reinvented herself as a beautician, and worked until her retirement.
She loved her home and her fruit trees and working in her yard . She loved her neighborhood, neighbors and her community. She was a pug dog fanatic. She loved them and had many pugs over the years.
Vada also volunteered for the League of Woman Voters at South Florida polling locations, as she believed strongly in the power of voting.
