Maria DiFede, 88, of Davie, passed away March 25, 2024. Born September 28, 1935 in Siracusa, Sicily to Sebastiano and Josephine Bottaro. She married the love of her life Antonio DiFede on October 6, 1956.
Maria is survived by her loving husband Antonio; daughter Lucia Whitson and her husband Ricki; son Anthony and his wife Renee; grandchildren Anthony DiFede and his wife Ashley; Victoria Robinson and her husband Ryan, Juliana Crowley and her husband Joseph, Chad Whitson and Jenny DiFede; great grandchildren Luke Robinson, AJ DiFede and third great grandchild expected in September (Juliana & Joseph) and sisters Salvatrice Reale and her husband Vincenzo, Iolanda Russo and her husband Angelo, Mafalda Golino and her husband Salvatore, Lucia Fabrico and her husband Frank, Giovanna Bottaro and her husband Francesco and Natalia Melino and her husband Umberto.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27 ^th , 9:30am – 12:00noon. Cryptside service will be at 12:30pm at Hollywood Memorial Gardens East.
