Zelma Orquidea Lopez

ZELMA ORQUIDEA LOPEZ, 72, of Hallandale Beach, Florida, passed away December 3, 2022. Originally from Lima, Peru, Zelma made her career as a Property Manager for many years in the South Florida area. She will always be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help those less fortunate. As a longtime member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Zelma’s strong faith touched many lives and she became a shining example of God’s love to all who knew her. Zelma is survived by her son Antonio Martinez, sisters Carmen Lopez and Jenny Martinez, brother Franklin Lopez, grandchildren Kevin and Keira Martinez, nieces, nephew, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Not to forget her beloved Maltese Pappy. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, December 20, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard. A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm in the chapel at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL followed by entombment.
