ZELMA ORQUIDEA LOPEZ, 72, of Hallandale Beach, Florida, passed away December 3, 2022.
Originally from Lima, Peru, Zelma made her career as a Property Manager for many years in the South Florida area. She will always be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help those less fortunate. As a longtime member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Zelma’s strong faith touched many lives and she became a shining example of God’s love to all who knew her.
Zelma is survived by her son Antonio Martinez,
sisters Carmen Lopez and Jenny Martinez, brother Franklin Lopez, grandchildren Kevin and Keira Martinez, nieces, nephew, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Not to forget her beloved Maltese Pappy.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, December 20, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard. A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm in the chapel at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL followed by entombment.

Joan Lee Scheidell, 85, of Hollywood passed away June 13, 2025. Survived by sons Mark (Jeanne) Kovacs and Michael (Maria) Kovacs; daughters Suzanne (Joe) Domenech and Denise (Jim) Ordonez; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
Martha Clementi, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 23, 2025, at the age of 97 in Hollywood, FL.
David James Bushing, born November 18, 1968, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025 at the age of 56 after a nearly three year battle with brain cancer.
Kathleen Sylvester, 82, of Coral Springs, FL. passed away on June 18, 2025.
An honoring of her life will take place at Landmark Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida on June 29, 2025 between 1:00-3:00 pm.
