David Neal Bianco

March 25, 1946 - June 13, 2022

David Neal Bianco was born in Oak Park, Illinois on March 25, 1946.  He was the youngest of three boys (Charles Vito and Bruce) born to Charles and Bertha Bianco.  David serviced in the United States Army, but his passion was food and food service.  He started his career in the service industry at the Drake Hotel.

He moved to South Florida with his then wife Diane and their daughter Dina in the late 1960s.  In the 1970s he married Jackie and they had a son, David, Jr.  He had another son, Taylor with his third wife Lori.

Throughout his career David worked as a maitre d hotel, manager and catering director in the finest clubs in Dade County - The Cricket Club, the Jockey Club, Turnberry Isle, Williams Island, Turnberry Ocean Colony, Porta Vita and Fisher Island.  He hosted celebrities, professional athletes, politicians, heads of state, United States Presidents, musicians and movie stars.  David ventured into restaurant ownership in North Miami and Aventura, Florida including The Salad Scene, Il Restaurante Bianco, Scoozime and The Fish Joynt.  David treated everyone like a celebrity VIP.  His style of service was old fashioned in the best way.  Carrying on the traditions of great classic service was of utmost importance to him.  He thrived on training his staff and had the highest of expectations from them.

David was kind, loving and generous.  He would literally give you the shirt off his back if you complimented him on it.
