JUNE D. FLANAGAN, 96, beloved mother and grandmother of Boca Raton, passed away May 15, 2023. She was born June 27, 1926 in New York City to James and Lillian (Raftis) Dennehy.   She enjoyed the outdoors; she loved plants and flowers. She took horticulture classes at Fairchild Gardens in Miami. She was an avid reader and a talented artist who could capture the true beauty in her paintings. She received her bachelor degree from Barry College in Miami. June worked 25 years with the Hollywood Police Department starting as a dispatcher and retiring as a court liaison. We have been blessed with the best mom in the world and will always have her in our hearts.   Preceded in death by her husband Mort, son Daniel and daughter Dianne Walsh, she is survived by children Blaise Flanagan, Helen (Dennis) Owens and June (Howard) Deichert, grandchildren Jenny and Frank Walsh, Steven (Alessandra) Owens and Ashley (George) Isabel and great grandchildren Brandon and Daniel Owens, Chelsea and Christian Isabel.   The family will be receiving friends on Monday, May 22, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a 12:00 prayer service at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard.
